An easy way to enhance the health benefits of your glass of goodness is to add olive oil. But not just any olive oil, it needs to be extra virgin and high quality. Too many oils have been left on the shelves longer than ideal, degrading the quality, while also being cut with seed oil that is not traceable on the bottle label. Make sure to do your research to ensure you are getting the health benefits that make olive oil a superfood. Remember, quality olive oil has a flavor and nutritional characteristics that shine when cold or at room temperature. If yours is not doing this, it is likely not high grade.

Antioxidant Summer Smoothie
- 1 1/2 cups of frozen or fresh mixed berry fruit
- 1 cup of coconut water
- 1 1/2 cups of lettuce of your choice
- 1 cup of ice
- daily scoop of collagen powder (our brand called for 26 grams)
- 2 tablespoons Harvest Peace organic olive oil
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy.
